New Cossacks: The Art of War screens

GSC Game World has released a new group of screenshots from Cossacks: The Art of War, the upcoming add-on to its 18th-century real-time strategy game, Cossacks: European Wars. The new screenshots show off several scenes from the expansion, including a look at the random map generator.

The new expansion is set in the late 18th century, and it continues the timeline of the first game. It also features a number of new options and improvements, such as a map editor and a complete multiplayer mode. In addition, a new playback feature will record battles and then replay them in either real time or accelerated time.

Cossacks: The Art of War is in development at GSC Game World, the studio that created the original game, and it is scheduled for release by CDV Software this holiday season. For more information about Cossacks, take a look at our full review of the game.
