New details on PS4 game The Order: 1886 emerge

Game looks real bad - the concept itself, I mean.

It looks good but don't like the sound of linear.

It's going to be a fun/light affair. I don't feel something giant is cooking up in here.

Has potential, seems interesting, will have to wait and see. Lightning gun seems pretty tight.

I'm not convinced that this will be good. A flashy trailer doesn't say anything about what the game will be like. God, does anyone remember White Knight Chronicles? I'll wait for reviews, but won't hold my breath.

Also this game may suffer from the yet another shooter syndrome

I almost fear that this game is going to suffer from the first gen syndrome.

That could work out really well, despite people not liking the word "linear" or the buzzword "filmic", but it's easier to fail at it as well. There's a big risk that it simply results in something boring that you don't like experiencing even once.

All in all, I'm excited for the PS4. I think it will be more sophisticated this time around. This is what Sony's been wanting to do all along, kick ass. I cannot wait for this beast of a console to come out.

This developer made some amazing games on the PSP.
I can't wait to see what they are doing on PS4 but I love what I've seen of the engine and I like the setting very much. If there was a developer that could get at the same awesome level as Naughty Dog it would be Ready at Dawn.

This looks awesome. I want the option to play as the monsters too. :)~

3rd person action.....Ah yes lets make a game with a 'dying perspective' and camera problems. Before any haters comment I said 'dying' as in currently, not 'dead'.

i wasnt impressed at e3, but now its looking interesting. still, i want an original VITA god of war!!!

The game could get a higher score if it was not too linear, however I'm impressed on the work for sure. So much to look forward to!

It may be a glorified and shiny version of Hellgate London, but more linear. Hellgate could have been so much more...

In words: an ARPG hack and slash/shooter with lots of QTEs.

QTES really ought to **** off and die; I am hugely enjoying Tomb Raider but the stupid QTEs taint it a little- thank god there aren't THAT many.

Free tip for Ready for Dawn in terms, when you say 'filmic' please mean proper cut scenes or in game exposition NOT lots of QTEs like in Ryse...
Overall I love the look of the this game and hope it'll meet its potential.

This game is Sony's attempt at a Gears of War rip off. and I would also bet that God of War is now dead and abandoned too.

Yeah, linear games can be awesome. But too much linearity is not. I'm still exited for this, but I hope that next-gen gaming won't take a turn for linear games.
I really loved the Last of Us (one of the best experiences ever imo), finished it twice in 4 days, but now I just want to play a game like fallout to feel like I have a choice as to where to go or what to do.

Can't wait for this. I really dig the demonic-foggy-London styles of this game.

I LOVE linear games! (no sarcasm) I really do love them!...Both linear and open-world games have their own different flavors!....This game looks really ambitious! :D

Don't understand why people seem to think this is a launch title. That has never been said and I've gotten the impression that we won't actually be seeing it released for a while yet.

If I get the PS4 at launch I'm getting this with it. If I get the PS4 later, I'm getting this with it. Honestly I love Ready at Dawn and I'm really excited to play a new IP from them.

We need more third person shooters and less first person.
