Bandai Namco has released another new trailer for Dragon Ball FighterZ. This video focuses on one of the three new characters who were recently announced for the game: Majin Buu's original incarnation, Kid Buu.
Like previous character trailers, the new video is very brief, but it provides a closer look at Kid Buu's unique offense. He has been described as one of the most wild and unpredictable characters on the Dragon Ball FighterZ roster thanks to his tricky moveset. Along with being able to stretch his limbs to attack opponents from afar, Kid Buu can also turn other fighters into candy or curl up into a ball and hurl himself at them. You can see him in action above.
Alongside Kid Buu, Bandai Namco recently announced that Gotenks and adult Gohan will be playable in Dragon Ball FighterZ, bringing the game's announced roster up to 21 characters. The publisher also shared a character trailer for Gotenks, showing off the fused warrior's "Charging Ultra Buu Buu Volleyball" and Super Ghost Kamikaze attacks. Another eight characters will be added to the game as part of its season pass, though Bandai Namco hasn't revealed which ones.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is developed by Arc System Works, the studio behind the BlazBlue and Guilty Gear series. It launches for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in the US and Europe on January 26. Players who pre-order the physical Collector's edition or a digital copy from the PlayStation or Xbox Stores will get early access to the game's upcoming open beta, while those who reserve any version of the game will unlock Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta early as a bonus.
