New F-Zero title GBA bound
Anime fave Ryu Suzaku joins Captain Falcon and Samurai Goro in new F-Zero iteration.
TOKYO--Nintendo says it will release a new F-Zero title on the GBA. Titled F-Zero: Falcon Densetsu, the game will be based on the TV anime series of the same name currently running in Japan. Together with the TV shows main anime character, Ryu Suzaku, traditional characters such as Captain Falcon and Samurai Goro are confirmed to be in the game. Each character's selection screen will be drawn in anime style.
F-Zero: Falcon Densetsu still follows the original SNES style game system, but the cars can be customized prior to the race, similar to F-Zero GX and AC. The game will sport new race courses, but a number of courses from the original SNES version will also be included (such as Mute City and Big Blue).
F-Zero: Falcon Densetsu is reportedly 80 percent complete and scheduled for release on November 28; retail price will be 4,800 yen ($44).
