New Fallout 4 "Retro-Futuristic" Car Comes to Forza 6, See It Here

Microsoft's partnership with Bethesda continues today with the launch of a new Fallout 4 car in Forza 6. The awesome-looking Chryslus Rocket '69 is coming to the Xbox One racing game starting today.

Everyone who has played Forza 6 or Fallout 4 on Xbox One while connected to Xbox Live will receive a code for the car. Codes are going out today in waves, so if you don't get yours right away, keep checking. Microsoft said in a statement that it will take up to a week for all codes to arrive.

If you buy a copy of Forza 6 or Fallout between now and the end of the month, your code will be delivered in the beginning of May.

As you can see in the image and video embedded in this post, the Chryslus Rocket '69 sports a unique "retro-futuristic" look. Instead of a steering wheel, it has jet fighter controls and "rocket ship handling."

It's also apparently super-fast, capable of reaching a top speed of over 200mph. "You'll travel at speeds once reserved for army spacetroopers. No need to keep up with the Joneses; they'll struggle to keep up with you!" the narrator in the video says.

The Chryslus Rocket '69 was first announced for Forza 6 back in November 2015. At the time, a Fallout-themed F100 car was given to all players to celebrate the launch of Fallout 4.

It's not just Forza that's received Fallout-themed DLC, as post-apocalyptic costumes were also released for Rock Band 4.

Ive always was interested and seeing this type of car in a racing game. Sadly I don't have the Xbone, but hope those who purchased fallout 4 and forza 6 will have a blast with this car ;)

I have Fallout 4 on the Xbox One I'm actually playing it now but I don't own Forza 6 though do I still get the code because if so I'll give it to someone who has Forza 6 but not Fallout 4.

Since everybody who's played Forza will get a code, what sense is there in sending one out to the rest? Logic is not their strong suit I suppose.

@heavygavel: Because some people who have Fallout 4 may end up getting Forza 6 in the future. If they do, they will have this car already in their collection. Good logic to me.

@greaseman1985: Better logic: Gift the damn car in-game like the Vault-Tec F-100 last year was gifted, that way everyone with the game will actually receive the car instead of a code they can easily misplace.

@sladakrobot: don't look at the top speed thinking that's what you'll be doing the whole time, you really gonna say you can drive Laguna Seca at 200 MPH??? I'd like to see you try.....you'l crash on the corkscrew turn alone......not to mention the other technical turns.....

smart drivers pick a car they think they can handle and one they've tried out in safe conditions and grew accustomed to, never go in ooh max speed, I'm so gonna bury the competition, skill still comes into it.....

@Marky360: Thats the problem with Forza lately..the tires dont wear off and the PI is all over the place.
That allows silly builds which never would work in real life.
I mean a 1960 car with 1000hp,street tires and normal brakes beats a fully upgraded modern racing car on a racing circuit?
If Turn 10 dont consider tire wear in the next Forza (Forza 2 had it) it will be the first Forza i will not buy (and i had all Forzas up to date).

FFS if you have a partnership just add the car in the game for all, not a select few.....

@NoahRoalson: yeah that's a small select few......what if you're a Fallout fan but not a Forza fan???? and what if you are a fan of both but haven't played forza in awhile and are on a RPG kick????

it's best just to add the car to the game and be done with it......quit with the stupid shenanigans......just straight up add it to the game......

It very clearly states that anyone who has played either Forza 6 OR Fallout 4 will get it. That's quite a lot of people. If you've played either game, you'll get the code.
