Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Far Cry 4, the first in a series that introduces you to the open-world game's new setting: Kyrat.
Part one of the series focuses on the lowlands, a "massive" region between the rolling hills and wetland marshes made up of a web of mountain roads spreading across the planes. The big bad guy in charge of this area is Paul Depleur, a drug runner and the leader of the royal army belonging to Far Cry 4's main villain, Pagan Min.
If you've played the previous Far Cry games and especially Far Cry 3, you'll know that the landscape and the animals that inhabit it are one of the game's defining features. Far Cry 3 was set in an Asian-Pacific archipelago called the Rook Islands, and Far Cry 4's Kyrat seems largely inspired by Nepal.
Far Cry 4 launches November 18 for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC. In Europe, Sony and Ubisoft have teamed up to offer PS3 and PS4 Far Cry 4 hardware bundles.
