the first game was pretty good, if they can clean up some of the issues it could be gold.

I hope they work on the driving physics and get rid of that shaky cam effect.

This is great news ! I loved Sleeping Dogs and it was much more enjoyable to me than GTA 5 which is soooooooo fucking overrated ! And please don't say I liked it more only because I'm chinese.I'm not fucking chinese.

I really hope they keep the film references going. The infernal affairs vibe of the game was great and the horror expansion. I know it's just a name but.... Triad Wars? A faint whiff of half baked multiplayer, dumbed down story and milky, milky cash cow udder has just crept into my nostrils. Still fingers crossed that they build upon what was a solid game.

Sleeping Dogs was a good game hopefully single player based world for triad wars I know online is the future but I feel they put less effort into single player if they include online

You know what was a fun game? Sleeping Dogs. Dat melee combat and carjacking while in motion. I was badass incarnate. XD

Nice. I thought Sleeping Dogs was very good, hopefully we get another single player game similar to it. Online is fine, but looking just at GTA, I've been more into the SP than the online so far.

Im hoping they have a new main character, i mean Wei Shen was good but i felt his story was done. New city, new character. And hopefully they dont turn it into an MMO. And for the love of god make stuff to do after youve beat the game!

Really great game. My only complaint is after I leveled up all my martial arts skills I had no desire to play anymore

I'm really excited for this, Sleeping Dogs was my personal GOTY for last year so I hope that a follow up can live up to it!

That Square Enix quote about online worlds is quite separate to the UFG announcement so I really hope that they don't turn it into some sort of silly MMO. Maybe having player drop-ins like Watch Dogs could work, but I really think this sort of title is best as a single player game.

Sick and tired of seeing great single player games getting turned in to mediocre online games.

First. Keep it set in Asia. Hongkong or Shanghai or Taipei. Second, Don't make me be a criminal like in GTA5. I like being the good guy. TY

Something tells me I'm gonna be a lil disappointed. Why are devs these days are always making "online worlds" their first priority? Their main selling point? I'm not bashing online play, since I have alot of gamers friends I play online with about 5 days weeks. But come on, I mean obviously they can't do more with Wei Shen unless you want a prequel of him in the U.S...........and do you really want to go back there? The game was fine the way it was, and it had GREAT DLCs! Just tell me the next one will be bigger and better, more variety, more depth, that there will be a new bad ass character. A great SinglePlayer experience. Ok, it did have a few flaws, one was the bad driving but not bad enough that you couldn't get used to it, and the other was the police surveillance not being challenging at all.

not really enough information to form an opinion yet. the talk of "persistent online worlds" is worrying, but it's still not enough to go on. it's still worth watching though.
