New Halo 5: Guardians Trailer Coming Sunday During Fear the Walking Dead

For the second week in a row, Microsoft is buying up primetime TV ad space for Halo 5: Guardians. Following last Sunday's commercial for the game on Sunday Night Football, Microsoft will air a new spot for the sci-fi shooter this Sunday, October 4, on AMC, during the season finale of Fear the Walking Dead.

Microsoft made the announcement today on Twitter, but didn't say when during the show the commercial might air. "This Sunday, The Hunt Begins with a new #Halo5 Guardians commercial during @FearTWD. Be sure to tune in!" Microsoft said. The show airs on Sunday at 9 PM EDT.

Last Sunday's TV commercial was a live-action spot in which series hero Master Chief was pronounced dead. He's probably not really dead, however, so it'll be interesting to see where this next video goes.

Halo 5 launches on October 27 exclusively for Xbox One.

In other recent Halo 5 news, the Seattle Sounders MLS team will wear Halo-branded jerseys in their matchup against LA Galaxy on Sunday. In addition, you can now listen to the game's title song, while Microsoft has confirmed that work has begun on Halo 6.
