New Images Of Super Nintendo Land At Universal Studios Japan Emerge
We can see Bowser's Castle, Yoshi, and more from aerial shots.
New aerial shots of Super Nintendo Land, Universal Studios Japan's new video game-themed expansion, show off Bowser's castle and other familiar Mushroom Kingdom locations.
An Instagram user shared several different angles of the new expansion which include a far-off look at different rides. You can see Peach's castle, various warp pipes and blocks, and even a Yoshi ride similar to Fantasy Land where park-goers take the green dinosaur for a spin. You can check out various shots of the park below.
Outside the Yoshi and Mario Kart rides that have been previously confirmed, no other rides have been announced. You can check out more shots here.
Universal Studios Japan's version of Super Nintendo Land was intended to launch alongside the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, but they have been delayed due to the pandemic. It's possible that the park's opening in Osaka will be delayed as well even though no official announcements have been made.
Super Nintendo Land is also set to come to the Singapore, Orlando, and Hollywood Universal Parks, each with unique rides, although no information on those parks have been released to yet. Construction has been ongoing at the Hollywood Park.
The majority of theme parks, including Disneyland and Universal Studios in the United States, have been temporarily closed due to the pandemic. Universal theme parks in Orlando have plans to reopen with special precautions on June 5, and California parks don't have a timeline to reopen just yet but they will be allowed to once California hits stage 3 of its plan to reopen.
