New James Bond 4K Collection Includes All Six Sean Connery Movies With Steelbooks

Sean Connery is often cited as the best actor to ever step into the shoes of James Bond. However, his films have never been released on 4K Blu-ray--only Daniel Craig's turn as Bond has received the 4K treatment. That's about to change, as the 007: James Bond Sean Connery 6-Film Collection (4K Blu-ray) is officially up for preorder ahead of its June 10 release date. If you're looking for a premium way to store and display the collection, a Limited Edition Steelbook Box Set is also launching the same day for $140. The collection comes with a giant steelbook box containing six steelbook cases.

The steelbook collection includes six steelbooks--one for each film--plus the large steelbook library case shown above to store each film and a certificate of authenticity. The cases feature stills of Sean Connery from the movies. You'll get 4K and digital versions of all six films. We're still waiting to learn about any included special features.

Rumors began circulating about a 007 Sean Connery bundle last November, so fans are no doubt excited that the rumors turned out to be true. Only a few Bond films have been released in 4K formats, with Daniel Craig leading the charge.
