New Logan Trailer Shows Different Side of Wolverine
"She's like you."
The first trailer for Logan has arrived. The third Wolverine movie stars Hugh Jackman as the clawed mutant, in what will be his final movie in the X-Men universe. Check it out below:
Logan stars Jackman, Patrick Stewart (X-Men), Stephen Merchant (Portal 2), Doris Morgado (2 Guns), Elizabeth Rodriguez (The Drop), Boyd Holbrook (Gone Girl), and Richard E. Grant (Dracula). Helmed by James Mangold, the screenplay is written by relative newcomer David James Kelly and Michael Green, who wrote the script for 2011's Green Lantern.
Logan began production back in May, which is also when producer Simon Kinberg confirmed the movie's R-rating.

"It's a very radical, bold, different Wolverine than you've ever seen in any of these [other] movies," Kinberg said. "It takes place in the future, and ... it is an R-rated movie. It's violent, it's kind of like a western in its tone. It's just a very cool, different film."
The notes contained in a page of script that Mangold tweeted earlier this month certainly suggest something more hard-hitting than the previous Wolverine movies. "If you're on the make for a hyper choreographed, gravity defying, city-block destroying, CG f**kathon, this ain't your movie," they state. "In this flick, people will get hurt or killed when s**t falls on them."
Logan hits theaters on March 3, 2017. Take a look at some screenshots from the trailer below.
