New Look: MediEvil II
Sony drops by to show off MediEvil II for the PlayStation. New media inside.
Sony stopped by the videogames.com offices today to deliver a brand-new playable version of MediEvil II for the PlayStation. After having checked out several of the levels in this sequel, we can safely say that fans of the original are going to be pleased.
The game is filled with new ideas. For example, in one of the stages a crow comes along and steals Daniel's head. You'll then be required to find it, using a third-person perspective from the body, and a first-person perspective from the head's location. Having this detachable head will come into play at several other points in the game. Can't fit through a small crevice in the wall? Well, take off your head, place it on your detachable hand, and walk it through the open space. These are just some of the fresh concepts in the sequel.
We'll be playing a lot of MediEvil over the next few days, so be prepared for a full-blown preview update early next week.
