New Mass Effect: Andromeda Gameplay Footage Premieres
Get a new look at BioWare's long-awaited RPG.
Tonight during The Game Awards 2016, BioWare premiered a new gameplay trailer for Mass Effect: Andromeda. This is one of the better looks we've gotten at the game so far.
The video shines a light on Andromeda's new gear and special powers, and shows off a lot of combat. We also get a new look at the Nomad ship. Additionally, BioWare says in the video that, while you'll start off with a ship and the Nomad, you'll need to steal or craft additional items to bolster your roster.

Andromeda is slated to come out in Spring 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. However, EA has said it could delay the game if that's in the best interest of the project.
"Right now, Mass Effect is tracking extremely well," EA CFO Blake Jorgensen said earlier this month. "The game looks beautiful. And we're really pleased with its progress. However, as you've seen, we are willing to make moves in launch dates if we feel it's necessary to deliver the right player experience."
If the gameplay is not where BioWare wants it to be, the developer could delay it with EA's blessing. The delay could be a week, or it could be "three or four or five months" if need be, Jorgensen said.
