Codemasters sent us a new group of screenshots from IGI 2: Covert Strike, its upcoming first-person shooter. The new screens show off some of the characters, weapons, and environments that players will encounter in the game.

IGI 2: Covert Strike is the sequel to Project IGI: I'm Going In, which was released in late 2000. The new game will include a number of improvements on its predecessor, including improved 3D graphics, better artificial intelligence, new multiplayer modes, and a new save-game feature. The game is in development at Innerloop Studios, the developer that created the previous game, and it is scheduled for release in mid-2002. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game.
