New media: Onimusha 2
The first video footage of Capcom's sequel to Onimusha is a must-see.
Today, GameSpot brings you new screenshots and a trailer movie from Capcom's samurai action-adventure sequel Onimusha 2. The demon gauntlet will now be worn by samurai legend Yagyuu Jubei, as he battles against the Genma creatures led by Nobunaga Oda. This time, characters such as Magoichi and Oyu will provide support during battles, fighting off some of the onscreen enemies and boss creatures. Onimusha 2 for the Sony PlayStation 2 is scheduled for a Japanese release on March 7, 2002.
