New media: Super Smash Bros. Melee

Nintendo has released new screenshots of Super Smash Bros. Melee for the GameCube. These new screens demonstrate some of the graphical details included in the game. One shot shows Princess Peach's hair and dress being blown in the wind and another demonstrates that the hovercraft used in Captain Falcon's stage in Super Smash Bros. Melee are refined versions of the models used in F-Zero X for the Nintendo 64. Other shots show familiar locations found in other Nintendo games. Super Smash Bros. Melee is currently scheduled to ship alongside the GameCube November 18.
