New Minecraft Movie Lego Sets Are Available At Amazon
One of the four Lego Minecraft sets includes your very own Chicken Jockey.
A Minecraft Movie has dominated the box office since arriving on April 4, surpassing $800 million globally. It’s also spawned a bunch of official toys and merchandise, including two new Lego sets, The Ghast Balloon Village Attack and Woodland Mansion Fighting Ring. Both look like fun playsets for younger fans, though the latter lets you piece together the cultural phenomenon that is Chicken Jockey.
In addition to these new Minecraft Movie sets, Lego also launched two other Minecraft sets earlier this year, adding even more kits to the long list of Minecraft Lego releases. Here’s a closer look the all four new Minecraft Lego sets if you’re hoping to bring a bit of the blocky action to your home.
Be sure to also peruse the many A Minecraft Movie Blu-rays up for preorder, which include a premium steelbook version and one bundled with unique crafting table packaging.
Lego Minecraft: The Ghast Balloon Village Attack (555 pieces)
$70
Based on the scene from A Minecraft Movie, this set lets you recreate the Ghast’s attack on the village. It includes minifigures for Steve, Natalie, Dawn, and a villager, plus other figures for the ghast balloon, baby chicken, two piglins, and an iron golem. The set is quite interactive, thanks to an egg-laying function for the chicken and the ability to “explode” the village’s fountain with a built-in lever. The Ghast can launch discs at the village as well, making this a robust playset for Minecraft fans.
Lego Minecraft: Woodland Mansion Fighting Ring (491 pieces)
$50
Want to bring the ultra-famous Chicken Jockey into your home? This 491-piece Lego set has you covered. Along with a sizable Chicken Jockey, it comes with minifigures for Steve, Garrett, and Henry, as well as a baby zombie and great hog. You’ll snap together a small fighting ring with scorekeepers and a removable chest, plus handles that extend outside the ring and control the characters inside. It’s a great way to recreate one of the most iconic scenes from the movie.
Lego Minecraft: The Parrot Houses (535 pieces)
$70
Though it’s technically based on the game and not the movie, this playset is still a great choice for all Minecraft fans. It lets you create two parrot houses from the Jungle biome, complete with Jungle Ranger and Parrot Handler minifigures, plus two red parrots, two green parrots, and a skeleton mob. The red parrot house can flap its wings and has enough space to stow away a storage chest, while the blue parrot house has an interactive feature that allows its parrot figure to dance. Other accessories include a crafting table, furnace, hopper, jukebox, bed, diamond sword, and more.
Lego Minecraft: The Trial Chamber (322 pieces)
$40
This 322-piece set is the smallest of the four, though it’s still packed with cool features. Seven minifigures are included (two skeletons, two breezes, a Shadow Hoodie, and two spawners), and there are two flick-fire missile launches so you can play out your own battle scenes. At just $40, this is one of the cheapest ways to bring the world of Minecraft into your home.
These four Lego Minecraft sets are some of the newest additions, launching back in February ahead of A Minecraft Movie’s debut. However, there are plenty of other sets in Lego's Minecraft collection, many of which are on sale, including the Badlands Mineshaft that's discounted to $49 (normally $60) and The Armory for $16 (was $20).
