As you can see in the Reptile vs. Kung Lao announcement trailer, Reptile is back, his trademark tongue and venom attacks seemingly more powerful than ever. Watch as he rips his enemy apart, and finishes him with a truly brutal fatality that we won't spoil for you.
Reptile's announcement today for Mortal Kombat X attracted the interest of people around the globe, as "Reptile" was a top-ten trending topic on Twitter earlier this afternoon.
Mortal Kombat X is the next entry in the longrunning fighting series, following 2011's Mortal Kombat, which was also developed by NetherRealm Studios. Warner Bros. says the new game will deliver the "most brutal Kombat experience ever." For the first time in the history of the series, players can choose from multiple variations of each fighter, which impacts what strategies you'll use.
The game launches April 14 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. Looking for more Mortal Kombat X content? Check out Kitana and her brutal fatality, as well as GameSpot's entire previous coverage of the game.
