Developed by Guildford studio Hello Games, No Man's Sky is an exploration game that will attempt to generate one of the biggest digital worlds ever created using immensely complex procedural generation technology. Such a method creates a profound diversity across the game's planets and star systems.
The new images, published by Sony, showcases the visual diversity and exotic worlds on display.
In August 2014, Sony revealed that No Man's Sky is a timed PlayStation 4 console exclusive (it will ship on PC simultaneously, with an Xbox One edition possibly coming later).
Representatives for Sony have previously claimed that they are treating No Man's Sky, in terms of marketing support, as a first-party property.
