New Pride details

THQ has released additional information on Pride FC, its upcoming game based on the popular international shoot-fighting league of the same name. The game will include 25 characters, including Kazushi Sakuraba, Vanderlei Silva, Igor Vovchanchyn, and Heath Herring. All the characters have been modeled with more than 5,000 polygons to make them look as much like their real-life counterparts as possible. In addition, all the fighters will have move sets that are specific to their style of fighting. Pride will feature six modes: exhibition, grand prix, survival, training, tournament, and create a fighter.

Pride is scheduled for release on the PlayStation 2 this summer.
