New PS2 Ridge Racer 5 Movie

It's very interesting to see that two of the biggest titles to be released with the PlayStation2 console are future installments of two of the biggest titles that released at the same time as the first PlayStation system. Those two games are Tekken and Ridge Racer. While the two titles were popular during the early days of the PlayStation's life, future installments of both games created two of the most well-known racing and fighting game series - with each installment more popular than the last.

Now heading into the launch of the PlayStation2, Namco has two giant titles - Tekken Tag Tournament and Ridge Racer 5 - and gamers are expecting both to be at the tops of their respective genres. From what we've seen of the two games, Namco doesn't seem to want to disappoint in either case. Today we've gotten our hands on a new video of Ridge Racer 5 in action. While the movie shows no new tracks or cars beyond what we've shown so far, the quality is already much better than what's been offered on the web. The graphics look sleek, and the audio shines, as well. Check it out.
