TOKYO - A new Tekken is getting ready for the PlayStation2's launch. Can Sony go wrong? When you see the title in motion, it's hard to think so. Just as it did with Soul Calibur on the Dreamcast, Namco has taken a stellar arcade title and enhanced the graphics to never-before-seen levels in a fighting game. Considering the sophistication of Tokyo's finer arcades today, it just amazed me to see all the people playing the original Tekken Tag Tournament. To be honest, it's really hard to go back to the original arcade version after having played the PlayStation2 version.

Today, we captured a few more screens of Tekken Tag Tournament on the PlayStation2 - this time, from the actual stage we had played at the unveiling conference. The grass, the trees, the sky - everything - looked real in this level. And again, we were impressed with what we saw at the PS2 unveiling, and we hope to get our hands on the game once again at the Tokyo Game Show later this week.
