As its name suggests, this video provides an overview for some of the difficulties that will come Lara Croft's way. She'll have to survive blizzards and avalanches and fight animals like bears, wolves, and leopards. Collecting their pelts is a good idea, as they can be used to craft other valuable items.
The video also goes over Rise of the Tomb Raider's new hub spaces, which are 2-3 times larger than those featured in the 2013 reboot, according to Microsoft. In these areas, Lara can explore "challenge tombs" and take on new missions, among other things.
Next week's Woman Vs. Wild video will highlight the human enemies that Lara faces in Rise of the Tomb Raider. In the story, Lara is searching for a treasure-filled city, so naturally, there are bad guys who want to kill her and take it for themselves.
The Rise of the Tomb Raider release date is locked in for November 10 across Xbox One and Xbox 360. The PC and PlayStation 4 versions launch in 2016. For more, check out GameSpot's recent interview with Rise of the Tomb Raider writer Rhianna Pratchett.
