New screens: Madden 2003 Xbox

EA Sports has released new screenshots from the Xbox version of Madden NFL 2003. The game will include a few new modes, including a minicamp option that allows players to run through a series of drills to improve their skills and win additional Madden cards. Players can also edit formations, receiver routes, and blocking assignments and then save them as part of the playbook. In addition, the franchise mode now includes a training camp where players can take a look at rookies and listen to advice from scouts. The franchise mode also features player progression, so players' stats will degenerate or improve over the course of the season based on their performance. Al Michaels and John Madden will provide the commentary for the game.

Madden NFL 2003 is scheduled for release this summer.
