Electronic Arts has released a group of new screenshots from its upcoming virtual neighborhood game, SimsVille. The new screens show off several of the different neighborhood features that will be included in the game.

SimsVille has been described as a cross between the city management game SimCity and the popular virtual life game The Sims. Players get to design and build their own neighborhood, complete with residential and commercial areas. The game uses a 3D engine, and it lets players zoom and rotate the camera for different views of the neighborhood. SimsVille is in development at Maxis, and it is scheduled for release in early 2002. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game.
