New screens: Summoner 2

THQ has released new screenshots from Summoner 2, the sequel to one of the original launch games for the PlayStation 2. The game takes place 20 years after the events that transpire in the original Summoner. Players will take on the role of Maia, a queen who bears a strange mark and has the ability to summon strange creatures. Maia will also encounter several different kinds of characters on her quest, ranging from gladiators to assassins.

Summoner 2 is currently scheduled for release on the PlayStation 2 in the fall.
