New Spider-Man: Homecoming On-Set Images Reveal Spidey in Costume
The wallcrawler's first Marvel movie is currently in production.
New Spider-man: Homecoming on-set images have been released. Unlike the first batch which leaked earlier this month, these new pictures feature star Tom Holland in his full Spidey costume. Check them out via Looper.
Spider-man: Homecoming is directed by Jon Watts. Although Marvel has not officially announced the cast, Marisa Tomei is expected the reprise her Captain America: Civil War role as Aunt May, with Robert Downey Jr also making an appearance. Elsewhere, teen star Zendaya, Donald Glover (Community), Bokeem Woodbine (Fargo), Tony Revolori (The Grand Budapest Hotel), and Abraham Attah (Beasts of No Nation) have all joined the film in the past few weeks.
In May, it was reported that Michael Keaton would play a villainous role. Keaton was originally rumoured to be joining the cast earlier this year, but initial talks stalled. As THR notes, Marvel looked at other actors before returning to Keaton.
Spider-Man: Homecoming hits theaters on July 7, 2017.
