New Star Wars Galaxies 3D screenshots

LucasArts has posted three new 3D screenshots from Star Wars Galaxies, its highly anticipated massively multiplayer online role-playing game. These shots show three of the game's different character types standing amidst the game's richly detailed environments. In particular, you'll see a female lizardlike trandoshan; a female squidlike mon calamari; and a female zabrak, which looks similar to Darth Maul from Episode I. These 360-degree screenshots let you pan around the scene, and they require a Quicktime plug-in for viewing. The screenshots are available on the best game shown at E3 2001. The game is currently slated to ship sometime next year.
