Marvel has released a new clip teasing WandaVision, a bizarre and retro-flavored exploration of Scarlet Witch and Vision, living in a creepy and magical world that looks and feels a lot like the 1950s. The new series kicks off on Disney+ this coming Friday, and since any description of the show will likely make readers scratch their heads, it's best to let this clip speak for itself to sorta explain the show. Check it out below.

WandaVision will be the first entry in Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Because of COVID-19-related delays of the movies Black Widow and Eternals, as well as Disney+ original series Falcon and the Winter Soldier, WandaVision is now the first new Marvel Studios project released in over a year. That means this unusual show is unexpectedly planting a flag for what's next.

When asked what this means for the MCU future, Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige explained, "I hope it says get ready for the new and the different… I hope all of our movies have said that one after the other over the years. But certainly, the Disney+ opportunities [have] allowed us to expand creatively what we do."

Feige also said WandaVision's tone isn't likely to inform the future of the MCU in a major way, but rather suggest the range of motion the franchise will be able to operate within going forward. The sitcom stars Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda and Paul Bettany as Vision. The show was created by Jac Schaeffer.
