New Wii games announced

Toribor and BobbyBobby85: if the Mario sports titles are good and people still buy them then they'll keep making them. Regardless of how many are already out. It's basically like EA's sports franchises (i.e. Madden)

I agree BobbyBobby85. It is getting old, and I am getting tired of cashing in on the franchise. That isn't to say the game is bad, I enjoyed Mario Baseball, but I would much rather see something original.

Color me Dissappointed. The last thing I want to hear about from Nintendo is yet another Mario Sports title. on't they have enough already? And here I was thinking they would announce something unique. :roll:

freakin' Hell Nintendo, I want a friggin launch date and price, i'm just so tired of sitting, and waiting. I want to know, but noo, they gotta keep it secret friggin again.

Geez, ppl... chill. Q4 2006 is the official "date", it still a bit off and I know I'd feel more let down getting a specific release date that they can't hold than actually waiting a bit longer for the date even if it's just a month in advance. 4th quarter of 2006 = October to December. What does it matter really if we know it now or in a couple of weeks? And I agree with some posters here, save, save, save! Wii will cost less than $250 and anything above that you need for all the games! Remember thera are a bunch of games sceduled for the release, have you even started to make a list of the ones you are going to buy? I know I haven't.... Just take a break, play some games, be with your girlfriend/boyfriend/ffamily or just go outside for a couple of hours. It's not the end of the world. It will all be worth it in the end.

JUST MAKE A FREAKING DONKEY KONG GAME,NONE OF THAT DRUM CRAP.THEN MAYBE I WILL PICK UP A WII TO GO ALONG WITH MY XBOX 360!!!!!!!!!!

I love the people who still bash the Wii because the Cube wasn't everything it could have been. Come on, wake up! The Wii is going to change the industry. Do you honestly think Microsoft and Sony aren't going to try to copy it after it's become a huge success? As soon as Nintendo starts outselling them, you can bet the farm that Microsoft and Sony are going to be releasing motion sensitive controllers and any other gadget they can think of.

Wait till about 1 week before launch and say hey heres the price and oh by the way its going to be released next week, just announce it already, I mean Sony's put theirs out there why not Nintendo; It's not like they are going to blow people away with the price because we all know its going to be alot cheaper than the other two.

Its not like ive a done a huge study about it, but hey the more we get the better dont we ? just letting my imagination fly a bit, wouldnt it be cool to make a mario strikers team with a couple friends, and enter an online league ?? i mean we know that the most fun we get form nintendo games is at the multiplayer level, online gaming should be lots of fun,but nintendo has to administrateit really well evenmore if its goin to be free. Just imagine howmany ppl play through kaillera online snes, segaand mamegames.

*Shrug.* A lot of people are infuriated by this, but let's be serious, knowing when the release date is sooner won't make it actually come out any sooner. Heck, the sooner we know when it comes out, the longer we're sitting here just waiting for the day. Besides, the uncertainty of how much money you need to save up isn't a big deal. What's the worst that can happen? You save up too much and are pleasantly surprised to know you can afford another game or two? Painful. :P I always save money, and not for anything in particular. It's a healthy practice, just for life in general. Then when something awesome does come out, just plunk down the cash and be done with it. We are not dealing with rockets, ladies and gentlemen! Besides, they said we'd know more in September, so don't act all surprised that we didn't learn more in, hm, what is this? August? I think you see the pattern. ;)

@wwdcorp "with that money u get a Wii , two more controllers, 1 memory, and myabe 2 games..." Memory card? The Wii has 512 megs of on board flash, for saves, and downloads. I doubt you will run out of room that quickly.

what about a sequel to Eternal Darkness? oh, wait, silicon knights is making some worthless trilogy on the 360. OK, well, how about a new mario kart then? Triple Dash! nah, that's be too extreme. but still, i just want double dash with the level design quality of Mario Kart DS and online play.

What a surprise, Europe gets another coloured DS Lite, while we people in North America stil stand alone with the white ds lite, Ive already bought the DS Lite but if we ever get a new colour here I might just have to buy it aswell.

shibipocanibo ; all am trying to say is that the main news and important stuff will be shwon on TGS, second not even countries in europe were really into Liepzig, just take a look at other european gaming webpages. Liepzig is yet too small and doesnt have that much media coverage. So no point on releasing real important news. Do not misunderstand me, all am trying to do is give some objective argument why wouldnt companies like sony, ms, and nintendo give much importance ti liepzig, if you search a bit youll find , that even sony has a really small place for the playstation3 (place i mean station for advertising and playing games, they will not have playable demos or anything, at least not confirmed yet; i read this on a webpage so it might or not be true, yet again, you might find something interesting in eurogamer.net ign.com .... just so u can have more point of views....and shibipocanibo dont sweat it, keep it cool ok

The pink DS lite was a huge hit in Japan. There is also high demand for it in the US. You nintendo haters really need to do some research. There are six million unsold psps sitting on retailer shelves while Nintendo cannot produce enough DS lites to meet demand.
