New Wolfenstein Game Possibly Teased At Bethesda E3 2016 Conference
"The New Colossus"
Bethesda's E3 2016 press conference just wrapped up, and we got a lot of new information about what the company is up to, including a new Quake game, called Quake: Champions. In the moments before the game was announced, Bethesda also possibly teased a new Wolfenstein property called "The New Colossus".
A mock cmd.exe screen flashed just before the Quake trailer that showed a rundown of some of the Bethesda releases since the 90s. This included games in the Wolfenstein series, such as Wolfenstein 3D, The New Order, and The Old Blood. It also shows an unknown property called "The New Colossus," with a release date listed as only **-**-**. You can see the image below:

It's not clear what The New Colossus is at the moment--it could be an expansion or a full game. However, "New Colossus" refers to a sonnet by Emma Lazarus, which, in addition to appearing on the base of the Statue of Liberty, was also recited by Wolfenstein protagonist BJ Blazkowicz at the end of The New Order.
Although Bethesda did not directly announce a new Wolfenstein project, this possible tease fits with rumors and leaks that arose in the days before E3. Last week, a report suggested that Bethesda would announce a Skyrim remaster and a completely reworked Prey 2, along with Wolfenstein 2. The first two rumors came true, and it appears the third wasn't far off.
Bethesda made a string of game announcements during its press conference, and you can catch up on all of it here. Keep an eye on GameSpot for more news all this week during the E3 conference.
