New Xbox One Experience Update Install Size Revealed
"It is time to update."
The New Xbox One Experience, a dashboard update that Microsoft says could be the most significant update to any console in history, has finally arrived. It started to roll out at 12:01 AM PDT and is being sent out in waves, so if you didn't get the update right away, keep checking back.

We've also now learned how big the update is. Initially posted on Reddit and confirmed by GameSpot, the New Xbox One Experience weighs in at 1.154 GB, which is substantially larger than previous firmware changes. Check out this post to learn how you can download the update right now.
The New Xbox One Experience totally overhauls the console's UI and, among other new features, adds backwards-compatibility support for Xbox 360 titles (see the initial lineup of 104 games here). For lots more on the update, check out GameSpot's interview with Microsoft executive Mike Nichols.
