New Xbox Stellar Shift Controller Revealed, Out Now For $70
The Stellar Shift controller is part of Microsoft's Shift series of special edition gamepads.
Microsoft has announced a new Xbox controller color. The Stellar Shift Special Edition controller is part of the Shift Special Edition series, and it's out now for $70 USD.
The Shift controllers are inspired by different parts of the world and universe. The Aqua model is based on the deep sea, the Lunar controller is inspired by the moon, and the new Stellar controller aims to give users the "mesmerizing feeling of deep space vibes," according to Microsoft.

This new Stellar Shift controller is the latest version of the controller, featuring textured grips for the triggers, bumpers, and back to help users keep hold of it better. Unique to this controller is a dynamic background that features a deep purple and blue swirling design. Check it out:

The previously released Aqua and Lunar controllers sold out quickly at most places, so anyone interested in the new Stellar controller may want to try to snap it up ASAP.
In other Xbox news, Microsoft recently laid off 10,000 people, including nearly 100 at Halo developer 343 Industries. Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer defended the job cuts, saying they were difficult but necessary to help improve Microsoft's overall business performance.
