Yooka-Laylee, the colorful follow-up to Banjo-Kazooie, has received a new trailer, showing off a brand new in-game world.

The Capital Cashino, as it's called, features crooked games, evil security guards, and best of all, a nightclub that you can get down in with your chameleon and bat duo. Take a look at the trailer below.

Developer Playtonic Games has also revealed Yooka-Laylee's release date. The colorful platformer will launch on April 11, 2017 for PS4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, and Linux. The previously-planned Wii U version has been cancelled however, with the developer citing "unforeseen technical issues." Instead, Playtonic is attempting to bring the game to the Nintendo Switch.

Yooka-Laylee was successfully funded via Kickstarter, and is developed by many former Rare staff as a spiritual successor to Banjo-Kazooie. The game's previous trailer revealed a cameo from Shovel Night, the star of Yacht Club Games' side-scrolling platformer. Yooka-Laylee is also getting a boxed release, meanwhile.

We got the chance to play the upcoming platformer at Gamescom; check out our full Yooka-Laylee preview for more.
