Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Adding Terry Bogard As DLC This November, With More New Fighters On The Way
Terry Bogard faces the fury.
Nintendo had some very exciting Super Smash Bros. Ultimate news to share during this month's big Nintendo Direct presentation. In addition to announcing a release date for the iconic bear-and-bird duo, Banjo and Kazooie, the company revealed the identity of the next DLC fighter coming to the game: Terry Bogard from SNK's Fatal Fury series.
Nintendo didn't share many details about Terry during the Direct, only that he's currently in development and will be available sometime this November. Terry marks the fourth DLC character to arrive as part of the game's $25 Fighters Pass, following Persona 5's Joker, Dragon Quest's Hero, and the aforementioned Banjo and Kazooie.
One more character is still slated to come as part of the Fighters Pass, but that won't be the end of the newcomers; during the Direct, Nintendo announced that even more DLC fighters are in development for the game. Banjo and Kazooie, meanwhile, are available in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate now alongside the 5.0 update, which also adds a new mode: Home Run Contest.
In other Smash Ultimate news, Nintendo Switch Online subscribers can pick up another freebie for the game. The second Spirit Board Challenge Pack is available right now on the Eshop, and it includes an assortment of items to help you challenge tough Spirits in the game's Spirit Board mode.
Nintendo revealed a ton of other news during this month's Direct. You can catch up on all the biggest announcements from the presentation below.
