I hope they bring some snow maps! Please please! Mainly some enviromentally focused maps. Bf3 has to many urban maps already. And the B2k destructablity!

man, i really like BF3 but i don't have the time or patience to LEARN how to dominate in the game..but then again, BF franchise rely too much on teamwork..and i know it's a different type of game than COD..but im just wondering, IS IT ILLEGAL for DICE to implement a KILLCAM mode in a regular TDM match?..just for people like me (aim very well and have k/d ratio around 1.75 or above)..all i need is a killcam mode FOR ME TO LEARN the maps and where all the stupid snipers camp..THEN i will happily switch over to BF..most people don't mind dying alot to just to learn good spots on the map..for me, i want to learn fast, and a proper killcam would help alot!!!

Honestly, what is the point of having 1 week exclusivity for downloadable content? How much did Sony pay for that...5 bucks?

Interesting.. for anyone wondering about the final DLC, the title Endgame reminds me of a sci-fi book series called Enders Game, it was all about futuristic combat, perhaps there is still a glimmer of hope for a 2143 expansion! :)

Nice, now let me know when they end the paid beta test by releasing that giant patch. I cant wait to see how people play the game when frag rounds are not so OP and you can not ride the MAV to hide on top of the tallest buildings and highways etc.

Great news, but why are they not addressing the voice chat issues. I dont know about you but I and the couple friends I play with have serious voice chat issues.

Wake me up when they make 1943 for PC. Or better yet, 1942 redux.

@djpetitte I started a 2143 thread in battlelog. :D Lets see what the community thinks and maybe if we get enough people to post and reply DICE might add it to the "to do list".

@Psythce The Back to Karkand DLC was free if you preordered the game regardless of the platform... Oh and personally, I didn't have to upgrade my computer since the last generation of consoles, shows you how much consoles are holding games back. I'd even go as far as to say you only got a portion of the game on the console with the 24 player cap...

@mortis1982 I'm just really glad to see that I'm not the only one rallying for another 2142. Also, I hope at least a good portion of the maps are winter maps. Northern strike also brought some new things to the table as well with the goliath. Loved that, and getting dog tags! Sweet!!! .I remember playing Doom 3 on my fresh bfg 6800.. epic. I've seen that z board before, sweet! 2143 FTW!

June is extremely far away, still can't understand what Dice/EA are doing, too little patches for the numerous little bugs in the game that are getting really annoying now.

Good stuff. Increasing the player cap to 16 vs 16 for the larger maps would be awesome icing on the cake, but somehow I doubt that would happen.

@SuperTom You see, thats why you should of had a console version, free expansion with the purchase of it new, plus not only did you probably waste tons of money to get your PC to even play BF3, it died on you and now you have to spend even more money. Consoles are best.

That's nice, but how about you fix the first DLC's weapons to make them held in front of the character's face and nerf the USAS/Jackhammer frag rounds, and fix the frequent crashing, and remove that joke of a game mode conquest assault from consoles, then you may talk about DLC. Oh and please don't give us such terrible maps as last time. I know, they're from BF2 but they just don't hold up on BF3.

I like how they call it "Expansions" and not DLC. Maybe because they actually EXPAND the game? I wish I could play the Back To Karkand expansion, but 15$ is too much for m, plus my PC died. Each expansion seems to cather to a different audience-- Closed Quarters -- Players who love infantry and gunplay. Armored Kill --- Players who love vehicles and big maps, where Battlefield truly shines. Back To Karkand -- Players who are BF2 veterans.

Even though Operation Metro can occasionally be fun, i'm not so sure about an entire map pack entirely consisting of infantry maps. I play B3 for the chaotic mess of warfare. Just infantry does not really = chaos.

@groowagon I think they should leave the single player campaign out also, I too think it only hurt BF3 in the ratings bracket. @djpetitte thats awesome you have the walker mouse pad, I still have the zboard keyboard layout for that game also. I also like 2142 the best out of the series so far, I never played 1942 since I wasn't into PC gaming until 2004 with the release of Doom 3. Now all is left is one map for huge aerial combats only. They did that already with Star Wars Battlefront so pleeeeaaaseeee one for BF 3 too

@mortis1982 I have a 2142 walker mouse pad... rules I hope the do release it as a stand alone game.. aside from 1942 that was by far my favorite BF game.. even over BF3 I always wished for blood and destructable enviroments so the next one will be epic. I remember 1942 had a blood patch mod.. that kicked butt too

@mortis1982 safest bet would be to leave campaign out altogether. it was pointless in BF3 too. it was only good for lowering the review scores...

@djpetitte They will probably be releasing 2143 as a standalone game rather than an expansion pack... Hopefully if they and they decide to tack a story to it they do a better job this time around. I didn't think the story in BF3 was all that interesting.

@mortis1982 YES totally. its coming tho.. @_Roo_ Yes, please read. BF has always had a small map or two without vehicles since 1942 I dont get why ppl dont know that.. its not like they just started doing that. yes maybe with interiors but they have always had smallers maps.
