Starting with the new additions to Xbox Game Pass, MLB The Show 21 is out now across console and the cloud. This is the first entry in the series to come to Xbox.

Later this week, the independent game Phogs! releases on Game Pass for PC on April 22. This puzzle-adventure game has players controlling a pair of dogs who are connected by their stretchy stomach.

On April 28, the dinosaur game Second Extinction comes to Game Pass on console, PC, and the cloud. This is an in-development game that's available through the Game Preview program. On April 29, the original Destroy All Humans! comes to Game Pass for console, PC, and the cloud, while Fable III and Fable Anniversary come to Game Pass' cloud offering on April 30.

I'd like to see the Xbox Live Arcade games brought over to Xbox BC. Those were all digital games and only the best got remastered versions, like Mark of the Ninja and Shadow Complex. So there's no disk to play them on.

There were a few good helicopter arcade games I'd like to play THAT I OWN. Not to mention the 200+ total XBLA games I own that I don't have access to unless I use a 360.

C'mon Microsoft... Don't leave us hanging with XBLA games. I sunk a small fortune into those gems.

BTW, Pro Tip: Install the Microsoft Rewards app and the GamePass app right next to each other, just below your main screen. Only takes a few seconds each day to click through them and rack up points, and occasionally try a few games (included) you otherwise might not play.

Then set Reward Points to auto-redeem every time a $10 gift card is reached at the start of each month. It automatically shows up in your payment methods list.

If you have the GamePass Android app, they multiply evwn faster. Makea GamePass pay for itself while you're on the can.

@what101: you enjoy “gaypass” huh…?

I guess you enjoy “gaypass” because it gives you 24/7 access to hundreds of gays each month for one flat fee. And you don’t even have to worry about tipping…

@johnny0779: While Xbox is making games for PlayStation like Psychonauts 2, Tokyo Ghostwire, and Deathloop. Tokyo Ghostwire and Deathloop are games that are hyped too. MLB The Show barely cracks a million. Sony keeps on winning every time.

@johnny0779: Dont get your pants wet Johnny...

Dunno about which "table" you talk about.

If it werent for the MLB licence owners, the game would be still a PS exclusive.

The same could be said about the upcoming Indiana Jones game which Bethesda is working on.
I guess MS would like to keep it on GP devices but Disney/Lucas said probably "you gonna make it for every relevant plattform or no deal"

Dont expect any other Sony IP or franchise to appear on the Xbox.

If i were into baseball ,i would be happy about it and not toxic to Sony or its fans

@sladakrobot: I agree for we all can just play w/o caring about who should have it. However in regards to the Indiana Jones game MS would be happy to have it on every platform as Sony and any other platform will be paying MS. So I see no problem there but going forward MS will make any other games exclusive outside of any existing contractual agreements. MS will be making an lot of dough this year as they do every year. But we have to see how well MS handles Bethesda affairs.

@lonewolf1044: Where has it been stated that outside of contractual agreements, all Bethesda games will be exclusive to MS? Everyone keeps saying this, but I find no confirmation of it anywhere.

Is it something that is just implied, or did I miss this information? Link please?

@thecupidstunts: Phil Spencer said he would respect any deals Bethesda already had in place when they were acquired. Was on Xbox Wire originally, iirc. That's usually par for the course with big acquisitions.

Even though I have both consoles, Sony is the one that would go out of their way to separate gamers. It was like pulling teeth for cross play on "limited titles." How long did it take for Sony to put ANYTHING on PC? Not to mention it's their oldest games that everyone has mostly played (which will probably be their future excuse not to do it again).

Microsoft acquired Minecraft and kept it on all 3 consoles. Obviously because they make more money doing so, but it also falls in line with gamers' best interest.

Sony will use Microsoft's cloud platform, but they had to be dragged across hot coals to put The Show 21, which isn't a huge seller, on other platforms. They know they stand to make a lot more money with 4 platforms for that game, yet they still had to be backed into a corner to do it.

@thecupidstunts: Right now all we have is what Phil Spencer said:

"Obviously I can't sit here and say every Bethesda game is exclusive, because we know that's not true. There are contractual obligations that we're going to see through, which we always do in every one of these instances," said Spencer.

"We have games that exist on other platforms, and we're going to go and support those games on the platforms they're on. There are communities of players, and we love those communities and we're going to continue investing in them.

"But if you're an Xbox customer the thing I want you to know is this is about delivering great exclusive games for you, that ship on platforms where Game Pass exists. That's our goal. That's why we're doing this. That's the root of this partnership that we're building. The creative capability we will be able to bring to market for Xbox customers is going to be the best it's ever been for Xbox after we're done here."

The part i marked bold is i believe the key in what to expect.

With all of this garbage of not able to get a PS5 or Series X, I still get Gamepass on my PC. I am thinking my PC will become my go to machine moving forward. Not to mention, the price son PC games drops super fast compared to console. I just picked up a bundle for 30 bucks that gives me Battlefield 4, Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 5. That includes all DLC and expansions too. The online multiplayer stays online a lot longer too. Rainbow Six Siege, I always play on PC. Nintendo Switch gives me the best reason to stick with a console since Zelda and Mario games are only on Nintendo consoles.

Fable 3 was such a disappointment for me. I'll take another run at Fable Anniversary though! 😺

Baseball isn't my thing, but yay for MLB on XBOX! 😀👍

@thecupidstunts: Fable 3's beginning and end are more fun than the middle, for sure. The middle 50% and maxxing everything was a chore, but the end was better.

@Pyrosa: I think I just enjoyed the first two so much that the third just didn't feel fresh enough to keep me engaged. I did beat it, (and I agree that the end got better), but it felt like the magic was just gone for me once the third game dropped.

I'm hoping the next game will rekindle that joy in the series for me, (but I worry that the charm and relative simplicity will probably get lost in a sea of unnecessary mechanics, and the 'open worldification' that too many games tend to lean towards now).

I've been playing Kingdoms of Amalur Re-reckoning lately, and that really gives me warm and fuzzy Fable vibes. If the next Fable stuck to something like that, I would be thrilled!

@thecupidstunts: I agree 100% about Fable. The games were too similar. It was like one long, 3-part game, lol.

The 1st game had all the charm and simplicity.

Btw... Kingdoms of Amalur is a GREAT choice. Starts a bit slow, like most rpg's, but is fantastic.

@thecupidstunts: 100% agreed on Amalur! I played the original, and it had that Irish Fable magic for sure. I got some crazy number of hours out of it, too, like 100+.

@thecupidstunts: Is that the one where it turns out the badguy was just trying to save the world from somebody even worse, and you have to raise a zillion dollars to stop the real evil? The Fables all kind of blur together for me.

The way they're fracturing titles between the various platforms, with PCs and Mobile getting their own distinct releases, is kind of annoying.

How about a new wave of backwards compatible additions to the digital store?

Is Second Extinction coming for sale on consoles on April 28, no sign of it in the "COMING SOON" section?

Very nice!

I'll actually play Destroy All Humans now, and it can be one of the games that bridges the gap to Mass Effect Legendary.

@sabredj: Destroy All Humans is a lot of fun and definitely worth playing. It's very satisfying flying around in your saucer destroying stuff with your death ray. Reminds me of Mars Attacks! too in some parts in regards to the humor.
