Next Xbox One Backwards-Compatible Games Arrive
Both Force Unleashed titles arrive on Star Wars Day.
For the second time in as many days, Microsoft has added new titles to the Xbox One backwards compatibility program. Today's new additions, as announced by Microsoft's Major Nelson on Twitter, are Star Wars: The Force Unleashed and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II.
The Xbox 360 titles come to the program on Star Wars Day, which we have to imagine is no coincidence...
If you already own (or decide to buy) these games, they'll show up in the Ready to Download area of the My Games and Apps section on your Xbox One. You can download and play them like any other game.
As mentioned, this is the second time this week that Microsoft added new games to the backwards compatibility program. On May 3, Microsoft introduced Jet Set Radio, MX vs. ATV Reflex, and Texas Hold 'Em.
There are now more than 150 games in the Xbox One's backwards compatibility library. You can see all of the Xbox 360 games you can currently play on an Xbox One here.
New games are added to the mix whenever they are ready, not on a set schedule. There are five games confirmed to be coming to the program but not delivered yet. These are Call of Duty: Black Ops, BioShock, BioShock 2, BioShock Infinite, and Skate 3.
