It will be the second NHL game available through EA Access, joining predecessor NHL 15.
When it arrives next week, NHL 16 will become EA Access' 17th free game, joining the likes of Dragon Age: Inquisition, Madden NFL 16, Battlefield 4, Battlefield Hardline, and Titanfall. The latest new addition was Plants vs. Zombies, which was the first backwards-compatible Xbox 360 game added to the lineup.
These are the full versions of the games, and they are playable for as long as your subscription is active. For more on NHL 16, you can check out GameSpot's review.
