Night In The Woods Dev Teases New Game With Eerie Image
It's not clear if it's a sequel or new IP being teases, but it sure looks similar.
Since launching Night in the Woods in 2017, developers who worked on the game have been silent over what they've been working on since. Some went on to found The Glory Society, who today teased their first project with a visual style strikingly similar to their previous work.
The image, posted to Twitter, shows a crow on top of a tombstone. An illuminated sigil pulses on the tombstone, featuring a pitchfork and bone flanked by images of stars, the moon, and more.

Beyond that, there's no indication as to what this might be or if it is a sequel to Night in the Words. The Glory Society promises more news to come soon in the thread, but gives no firm indication as to when to expect it.
Night in the Woods launched on PC in 2017 to critical acclaim, eventually making its way to consoles, including the Nintendo Switch. It's also included in the Itch.io Bundle for Racial Justice and Equality, which expires later today. In our 8/10 Night in the Woods review, critic Kallie Plagge wrote, "From beginning to end to epilogue, Night in the Woods is ultimately open to individual interpretation. How you relate to it depends on your own experiences and choices, including Mae’s dialogue and who you decide to spend time with. Though its charming and angsty story works well on its own merits, it’s special because of how it prioritizes conveying emotion over telling a straight narrative."
