Ninja Gaiden Goes PlayStation 2

At the E3 show on Saturday, GameSpot confirmed with Tecmo that Ninja Gaiden will be coming out in the US next year. The game will be a launch title for the PlayStation 2 in the US.

A Tecmo spokesperson stated that the game has been in development in Japan for about a month or two now, and that the company hopes to be able to comment further on it this summer.

Development on this next-generation Ninja Gaiden was prompted by the demand from US gamers dying to get their hands on a new version. Since the Ninja Gaiden series has never been that popular in Japan, Tecmo has already listed the title as US only.
