Ninja To Voice "Main Role" On A TV Show, But He Won't Say Which One
The popular streamer continues to move beyond the world of video games.
Prolific gaming streamer Tyler Blevins AKA Ninja is taking his talents to a different medium. Blevins revealed on Twitter that he just finished doing voiceover for a "main role" on a TV show.
Blevins said he isn't allowed to say more yet, but he enjoyed the experience. "Voice acting is so fun. A huge passion of mine that I'm starting to get to live out," he said.
I actually recorded my first voice over for a main role in a tv show today. Although I can’t share more yet, voice acting is so fun. A huge passion of mine that I’m starting to get to live out ðŸ˜

Blevins is no stranger to TV or film. He played Ice Cream on The Masked Singer, while he's set to have a cameo in the Ryan Reynolds video game movie, Free Guy.
Blevins and his partner/manager Jessica filmed a scene for Jumanji: The Next Level, but it was cut.
You guys remember me telling you that Tyler and I filmed a scene in Jumanji where he was a douche DJ in college and I was at the party with my boyfriend that wasn’t tyler? MEET BRUNO! Haha. Such amazing memories. I hope they release the scene on YouTube. https://t.co/TL2nYTH3D3

It's no surprise to see Blevins branching out to these new areas. In a 2020 cover story for The Hollywood Reporter, Blevins said he was setting his sights beyond games.
"Movies, voice acting, cartoons--I'm looking at everything," he said.
