Nintendo Direct March 2025: Start Time, How To Watch, And What To Expect

Two presentations will air within a week of each other.

Nintendo has confirmed that it will be hosting a Nintendo Direct this week. It'll air on Thursday, March 27 at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET.

Nintendo clarified that it'll last around 30 minutes and will focus on upcoming games for the original Switch. It'll also contain no updates about Nintendo Switch 2, as the upcoming system will be the focus of the Direct airing on April 2.

How to watch the Nintendo Direct

The March 27 Direct will be available to stream on Nintendo's official YouTube channel, or you can watch it through the embed below.

Nintendo Direct start time

The Nintendo Direct is scheduled to begin at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET on Thursday, March 27.

  • 7 AM PT
  • 10 AM ET
  • 2 PM GMT
  • 12 AM AET (March 28)

What to expect

More information about Metroid Prime 4: Beyond and Pokemon Legends: Z-A could be revealed, as they are the last two remaining first-party Switch games that we know are due out this year. However, a Pokemon Presents showcase also aired last month, so it's unclear whether Pokemon Legends: Z-A will make an additional appearance.

Given that the presentation is about 30 minutes, it's likely that there will be plenty of third-party games shown off too. Games like Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4, Capcom Fighting Collection 2, Lunar Remastered Collection, Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma, and Rusty Rabbit are releasing on Switch in the next few months.

We might also see updates for games like The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky remake and Professor Layton and the New World of Steam, as they were revealed in past Directs.

Could it finally be time for a Hollow Knight: Silksong release date? It's possible, but there are rumors that a Switch 2 version will be released, making it candidate for next week's Direct as well.

Did they say anything about killing children with Pokemon Go or whatever their android game is called by having them walking off cliffs & stuff?

They have nearly no rebates, who cares about poor kids, they are full Apple & 100% in it for the money.

They & their ahole lawyers likes to hinder fun in general like a bunch a sourpusses.

Their games are for kids & casuals.

There is literally nothing to like about Nintendo excluding if you for some reason still haven't had enough of mario & zelda.

The last good game Nintendo produced was Twilight Princess or Ocarina of time.

I used to be a Nintendo fanboy before I grew up, if they release a NGC2/Gamecube 2 i might relent.
