Nintendo Is Holding a Super Mario Maker Competition at Facebook
The game company is working with the social network to promote the game.
Nintendo is working with Facebook to help promote the upcoming release of Super Mario Maker.
Announced on Nintendo of America's Twitter account, the partnership features a special competition for Facebook employees to design levels in the game. Nintendo later explained that this competition would come in the form of a "Hackathon" on Facebook's campus, with different teams working in the game to make Mario levels.

A panel of judges from Facebook and Nintendo will decide the winning level, which will be released for free to players when the game comes out.
Super Mario Maker launches on September 11 for Wii U. It lets players create and play levels based on Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World, or New Super Mario Bros. U.
