I love these frames but I’m not about to buy them again for at seems like the 10th time. Why not just release a Myst anniversary bundle instead and give gamers more value for the money?

I'd have loved them to actually do a remaster of both Myst and Riven: The Sequel To Myst. Put them both on the same disk! Even Riven: The Sequel to Myst, which is the sequel to Myst.

@snugglebear: Riven made me want to kick puppies into a pit of rabid babies.

@mogan@bryanweary: The Myst remakes are weird to follow.

• "Myst: Masterpiece Edition," with improved but still pre-rendered visuals, was released in May 2000.

• "realMyst," the remake with realtime 3D graphics, was November 2000.

• "realMyst: Masterpiece Edition," now running on Unity with the option to flip back to the original(-ish) prerendered graphics from '93, came out in February 2014.

Despite not really liking "Myst," I've somehow accumulated all three of these versions in my GOG library.

@zmanbarzel: And poor old Riven, which was a way better game, didn't get jack for remasters. : \

@zmanbarzel: So many versions, you're right, it is tough to keep track. 🤣 I just rememer riding my bike to my buddy's house a few miles away to try and solve the next puzzle way back in the day.

@jadephoenix13: This was my initial reaction as well, but I think they are referring to the masterpiece edition and not the OG Myst.
