Nintendo Switch Mecha Game, Daemon x Machina, Gets Release Date During E3 2019 Direct
Coming later this year.
During its traditional E3 Direct, Nintendo revealed a brand-new trailer for Daemon x Machina. The trailer ended with a release date announcement for the new Nintendo Switch mecha game: September 13. You can watch the new trailer above.
Daemon x Machina is directed by Kenichiro Tsukuda, who previously worked on the Armored Core series. In this upcoming game, you pilot giant high-powered mech suits called Arsenals. You have a choice with how your suit is outfitted, switching between a variety of weapons for different playstyles. Your mission is to defend humanity from an army of robots, all of which are controlled by a rogue AI. The game will support both local and online multiplayer.
"Choose and equip your Arsenal with a multitude of weapons, obtain more from downed enemy Arsenals, and swap them on the fly to suit your strategy in the face of ever-changing threats that may bring the end of the world," Nintendo wrote in a press release.
