Nioh Exploit Makes Defeating Any Boss Trivial
Do you have the stones to take on Nioh's toughest bosses?
Having trouble with a boss in Team Ninja's Nioh? An exploit featuring soulstones and living weapons might be the answer you need to make it another step further in protagonist William's struggle against the yokai.
Using soulstones to power-up your living weapon is the secret to the exploit, reported over at Powerpyx. Simply putting soulstones in your quick select item slot, you can trigger your living weapon, making you invulnerable, and increasing your damage output. By keeping your weapon fed with soulstones, you can take on any boss in the game without fear of retribution.
Soulstones are dropped by enemies, and are often used as mission rewards, so you'll need to earn a few yourself in order to have a bank of them to spend on particularly tricky bosses.
The video below features the exploit used against one of the more difficult bosses in the game, a simultaneous battle against a Yuki-onna and Oda Nobunaga.
Miguel gave Nioh a solid 9 in our review, finding it "surprisingly rich with solutions to overcome its many hurdles."
