Those who complete the trial will receive a number of bonus prizes in the final release. Completing the main mission will grant you the Ogress Headgear, while beating the "twilight mission" gets you the Mark of the Conqueror and Mark of the Strong DLC packs. Do note that you'll need to keep hold of your save file to get the content in the final game.

This isn't the first time Nioh has had limited-time trial periods. An alpha was released in April and a beta followed in August. Feedback obtained from the demo periods helped developer Team Ninja revamp the game's stamina system entirely.

Recently, Team Ninja revealed that Nioh will have a multiplayer mode, but not at launch. Meanwhile the game has now gone gold ahead of its February 7 (North America) / February 8 (Europe and Australia) launch.
