No Dead Space 3 on Wii U

I would buy the game twice. Once for WiiU and once for Xbox. They could get alot of money out of me yet are passing up the opportunity.

Still not enough third parties on board with Wii U to make it appealing to the hardcore.

I'm going to take this opportunity to say that I don't give a shit about Dead Space 3. Co-op is the worst thing to ever happen to survival horror.

Eh, Dead Space 3 looks less appealing anyhow.

Do we seriously need to make an article everytime a game doesn't hit the Wii U ?

The console didn't even came out and third parties are already backing out. It already seems like nintendo will be the only one making good stuff, as they always did, so no revolution here.

Good. Nintendo doesn't deserve first class titles like dead space anyways.

Easy: It wouldn't sell enough on the Wii U. I'm sure there would be some people that would pick it up, but not close to the numbers the publisher is looking for. No one who has played the first two games has played them on a Nintendo console. Speaking from personal experience, there's a tendency to stick with the console you started on. Meaning if you started the series on the PS3/Xbox/PC, you aren't likely to buy the third installment on the Wii U. Also, Nintendo users don't have any vested interest in the series. A user that only has a Wii console to game with will be coming into the series without any attachment to the story or its characters. So the pool of interested buyers gets even smaller.

I'll be getting all of those games for the 360 anyway (well... DS3 depending... looks kinda more like a generic action game), but I wonder what the reason is for it not coming to the Wii U? I don't think it would be exclusivity, and they have the option for classic control with the Wii U, so I have to wonder if it's an issue with the power of the console. Hmm.

@LongJohnSlivers no offence, but I wrote an interesting reply to that website... the reply was not hateful or stupid. It was well articulated, without hateful words, and to some parts of the reply I was actually agreeing with some of the points. The moderator never even bother to post it on its website.....so, yeah, it is "nice" when you control what goes in and out on the blog, looking like whoever post something totally agrees with what its written.

That's too bad but I was going to get it for PC anyway. That's how I've played the last two games...

I'm not trying to sound like a butthurt troll saying ''Well if they don't want to make it for me I never wanted it to begin with!!!1!1!!!111!'' , but really I don't know of any games ''announced to not be on the system'' , Dead Space 3 is losing anything that made it unique to begin with. I didn't really care too much about Tomb Raider to begin with. Metro Last Light was about the only game I actually was more than indifferent about not being on the wii-u.

Guess I'll pass on the Wii-U if their goal is to imitate current gen consoles....
