No Man Sky Dev's The Last Campfire Gets New Trailer Ahead of Summer Release
The next game from the developer of No Man's Sky is imminent, as revealed during the PC Gaming Show.
No Man's Sky developer Hello Games' new title, The Last Campfire, is almost here, and at the PC Gaming Show, the developer dropped another new trailer ahead of its release sometime this summer. The trailer gives a sense of the more intimate single-player adventure game, as well as the strange mysteries it hides.
You play as an ember, a blue-clad character exploring a strange, seemingly dead world. Expect The Last Campfire to be a shorter and possibly more melancholy game than Hello's previous work--the developer describes it as "a story of a lost ember trapped in a puzzling place, searching for meaning and a way home."
We previously got a look at The Last Campfire's gameplay, and you can see the newest trailer above. It looks like you'll be solving puzzles and interacting with characters to find your way, some of whom appear to be dead--but the ember might have the power to revive them, at least briefly. Other than solving puzzles as you explore The Last Campfire's vibrant world, Hello Games has kept details pretty locked up so far, so we'll likely have to wait for the game's release to learn more.
The Last Campfire is coming to PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch when it releases sometime this summer.
